Terms & Conditions
These terms explain how orders, artwork, production, delivery, cancellations, returns and website use work when you buy from Smash Signs.
In plain English: please check your artwork, size, finish and delivery details carefully before ordering. Most of our printed products are made to your specification, so change-of-mind cancellation rights are limited once production has started. This does not affect your legal rights if goods are faulty, not as described or not made with reasonable care.

Using This Website
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and any product-specific information shown on the website at the time of ordering.
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the terms shown on the website when you place that order.
Products, Descriptions & Colours
We try to describe products, materials, sizes, finishes and production information clearly. Small variations can happen in print, cutting, colour and finishing because printed products are physical items made from digital artwork.
Colour matching
Screen colours can look different from printed CMYK colours. We do not guarantee an exact screen-to-print colour match unless we have agreed a specific colour-matching process in writing.
Cutting tolerance
Stickers, banners and domed stickers can have small cutting or finishing tolerances. Please follow our artwork guidelines for bleed and safe areas.
Orders & Contract Formation
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the products selected. We accept the order when we confirm it or begin processing it. We may refuse or cancel an order if there is a clear pricing error, payment issue, stock or production problem, or if the order includes artwork or content we cannot lawfully or reasonably print.
If we need extra information before printing, such as better artwork or clarification, production may pause until we receive what we need from you.
Prices, VAT & Payment
- Prices: prices shown on the website include VAT where applicable unless we clearly say otherwise.
- Delivery charges: delivery charges and available delivery options are shown at checkout before you pay.
- Payment: payment is taken through the payment methods shown at checkout. Your order may not move into production until payment has been received or authorised.
- Pricing errors: if an obvious pricing or product configuration error is found, we may contact you to correct it or cancel and refund the affected order.
Artwork, Files & Customer Content
You are responsible for making sure the artwork, wording, spelling, dimensions, colours, finish choices and uploaded files are correct and suitable for print.
- Artwork issues: we may contact you if we spot a clear issue, but we are not responsible for checking every spelling, design or content detail.
- File permission: you confirm that you own, are licensed to use, or otherwise have permission to print the artwork and content you upload.
- Content we may refuse: we may refuse artwork that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, discriminatory, misleading, infringes another person's rights, or is otherwise unsuitable for us to print.
- Licence to print: you give us permission to use your uploaded artwork and order information for the purpose of producing, checking, delivering and supporting your order.

Proofs & Approval
If we provide a proof, it is your responsibility to check it carefully before approving it. Once a proof is approved, we will normally print from that approved version. If you approve a proof containing an error, we may not be able to refund or reprint unless the finished product is faulty or not produced in line with the approved proof.
Production & Delivery
Production times are estimates for printing, finishing, packing and dispatch. They are not delivery guarantees. Delivery starts after dispatch and depends on the delivery service used.
Unless we agree otherwise with you, we will deliver goods within 30 days of accepting your order. If an order is delayed because we are waiting for artwork, approval, payment or information from you, the delivery estimate will move accordingly.

Cancellations, Returns & Refunds
Many Smash Signs products are personalised or custom-made to your artwork, size, finish or specification. For these products, the usual change-of-mind cancellation right for online orders may not apply once production has started.
- Before production starts: contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change an order. We will help where we reasonably can.
- After production starts: we may not be able to cancel, change or refund custom-made printed items unless they are faulty, not as described, or we have made an error.
- Standard non-personalised goods: where a product is not custom-made or personalised, consumer cancellation rights apply as required by law.
- Faulty or incorrect goods: if there is a problem with your order, contact us promptly with your order number, photos and a description of the issue so we can put it right.
This section does not limit your statutory rights.
Damage in Transit
If your parcel arrives damaged, please tell us as soon as possible and include photos of the packaging and goods. This helps us deal with the carrier and resolve the issue quickly.
Our Responsibility to You
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses such as loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity or loss of goodwill where you buy as a consumer.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of your statutory rights, or anything else that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Intellectual Property
The website design, text, images, logos and other website content belong to Smash Signs or our licensors and must not be copied or reused without permission, except where allowed by law.
You keep ownership of artwork you upload, but you must have the rights needed for us to print it. You agree to cover us for losses, claims or costs caused by artwork or content you provide that infringes someone else's rights or breaks the law.
Privacy
We handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy. Artwork files may contain personal information, so please only upload files you are allowed to share with us for printing.
Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as courier disruption, supplier failure, power or equipment failure, fire, flood, severe weather, strikes, government action or other events we could not reasonably prevent.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your local courts where the law allows.
